February 28, 2021, St. Malo, FR, Inhalio Inc., the leading digital scent as a service company, announced today that the French government’s Laboratoire Conseil Expertise et Analyse (LABOCEA) in Ploufragan, France has tested and found that the Inhalio Air Sanitizer scent formula, Inhalio V-313485, kills 99.9% of the Respiratory Coronavirus in an hour’s time. The tests, which were performed in late December 2020, followed strict French Government NF EN 14476 standards and protocols.
These results, combined with the two Independent laboratory tests performed in the United States in July of 2020, confirm that the Inhalio Air-Sanitizer V-313485 Scent formula can kill viral pathogens, including Respiratory Coronavirus. Overall findings from both tests indicated the following:
- The Inhalio V-313485 Air-Sanitizing Scent Formula was tested against Respiratory Coronavirus (surrogate SARS-CoV2(COVID-19)) and found that it had an effective kill rate of 99.9% after 60 minutes of contact time.
- The Inhalio V-313485 Air-Sanitizing Scent Formula was found to reduce viable airborne pathogens by 97.2% after 60 minutes of intermittent diffusion in an airborne chamber test against a surrogate coronavirus known as non-enveloped MS2 bacteriophage.
- Additionally, the Inhalio V-313485 Air-Sanitizing Scent Formula did not require protective breathing apparatus as it based on natural, safe to breath, and IFRA safety certified ingredients.
